This piece was done as a commission for a lovely couple whose favorite Bible story is Jesus and Peter walking on water, as told in Matthew 14:22-33. I titled it "Trust" because that is exactly the thing Jesus was testing in Peter. It has lots of parallels to our lives, and I wanted to capture that sinking feeling that we sometimes know all too well.
